BOKO Haram’s vehicle workshops, fuel and ammunition dumps in Sambisa forest have been bombed by the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) jets.
A statement by NAF’s Director of Public Relations & Information, Air Commodore Dele Alonge, which made this known yesterday, gave an assurance that the latest air strikes have increased the possibility of ending insurgency in the Northeast.

According to latest news from the Nigerian Defence Headquarters, Nigerian troops have rescued 200 girls from Sambisa forest, the notorious hideout of the insurgent group, Boko Haram.
The military however said the girls were found Tuesday afternoon alongside 93 women who were also rescued, but could not confirm whether the girls were students abducted more than a year ago from a secondary school in Chibok, Borno State.
