    NGO to screen 200,000 women for cancer

    A non-profit body, Lift Above Poverty Organisation (LAPO), is to screen 200,000 women under its flagship community campaign for cancer control project known as the C4-Project with a view to raising awareness on early detection and prevention of the scourge.

    The Lagos State University has commenced the admission of candidates for the 2016/2017 academic session using the online screening approach.

    The institution’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Olanrewaju Fagbohun, said on Friday that the institution had begun to use the system.

    He said that candidates, who chose LASU as their first choice as directed ‎by the Joint Admission Matriculation Board, would be screened online.
