It was gathered that the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr Ibrahim Magu, on Thursday said the anti-graft agency had secured 187 convictions in the last one year.

According to reports, the head of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, South South, Ishaq Salihu, said the zone has secured 26 convictions and recorded over a billion naira in the last ten months.
He made the disclosure at the zone’s maiden media briefing in PortHarcourt, Rivers state.

According to reports, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) yesterday secured a warrant from a court to detain a former Deputy Governor of Osun State, Otunba Iyiola Omisore, in connection with the ongoing investigation of N1.310billion illegally allocated to him and three companies by the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA).
