    CCB commends, indicts public servants, political appointees over assets declaration

    Commendations has again come the way of the Chief Of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai, from the Code of Conduct Bureau for his asset declaration, which the Bureau has again certified to be accurate

    Several other public servants also got commendation from the Bureau for declaring their assets within the stipulated timeframe.

    According to reports, the Kano State Government has warned its civil servants, who were yet to collect their salaries due to some reasons, not to stage protest.

    Governor Bello dares labour, cuts civil servants’ salaries

    The Niger State Government may have defied threats by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) of an industrial action should the government go ahead with the 50 per cent reduction of civil servants’ salary in the state.

    The state governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello, had declared that the government would no longer borrow money to pay salary of civil servants, and therefore pleaded with labour to accept 50 per cent cut.
