    Bauchi State government bans all social gatherings and public processions with immediate effect

    It was gathered that the Bauchi State Government has banned all gatherings in whatever form, and religious processions, in the state.

    The government made this known in a statement signed by the secretary to the state government, Bello Shehu, on Wednesday in Bauchi.

    “It has become imperative to impose a ban on all public gatherings and processions in the state with immediate effect.

    According to reports, the Federal Government has directed the immediate release of N65bn for the take- off of its National Social Investment Programme.
