Tony Eyang, Chairman of the University Of Calabar Academic Staff Union Of Universities, ASUU, has declared that the union will not surrender until government does the needful by addressing the union’s demands.

About 22,430 youths suspected to have indulged in militancy and cultism, in Rivers State, have embraced the amnesty programme packaged by the Governor Nyesom Wike-led administration.
This was even as Wike disbanded vigilance committees in all communities of the state.

Nigerian Army on Wednesday said 77 Boko Haram terrorists have surrendered themselves to troops of 122 Task Force Battalion.
