    The Transition Monitoring Group (TMG) and the Conference of Edo State non-governmental organizations have flayed the security advise from the Police and the Department of State Services, DSS, that instigated the poll shift as poorly timed and wrongly presented.

    Chairman of the Transition Monitoring Group, TMG, Ibrahim Zikirullahi has stated that the continued depreciation of Nigeria’s economy is an indication that President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government has no effective strategy to address the problem.

    According to reports, the Transition Monitoring Group (TMG) – a coalition of over 400 civic organizations –alleged yesterday that agents of the Jonathan administration offered it a bribe of N2 billion for the  purpose of  compromising the outcome of the 2015 elections.
