Tottenham hammer Stoke 4-0 with brace from Son Heung-Min

Tottenham repeated their April annihilation of Stoke with another 4-0 win at the bet365 Stadium which maintained their unbeaten start to the season.

Spurs had only won once since thrashing the Potters at this venue five months ago when they looked like champions-elect and this was a performance in the manner of both that day and their late-season run.

Son Heung-Min, brought in for Erik Lamela after he played for Argentina in midweek, scored with two first-time finishes either side of the […]

Tottenham Hotspur fight back to draw with Liverpool

Liverpool paid the price for failing to take their chances as they were held to a 1-1 draw away to Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 Crystal Palace: Victor Wanyama scores the winner on his White Hart Lane debut as Spurs leave it late to clip the Eagles’ wings

It is a case of out with the old and in with the new during this final campaign at White Hart Lane. And old and new combined nicely on the field to give Tottenham’s season a jump-start here.

Seven minutes remained of what had been a distinctly underwhelming London derby when Erik Lamela’s tempting corner was met by Harry Kane’s athletic leap.

The front man’s header hung invitingly in front of the Crystal Palace goal and summer signing Victor Wanyama attacked it […]
