According to reports, the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) has traced N1.1billion to the Zenith Bank account of a former aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode.
The commission said this in response to Mr. Fani-Kayode’s claim that it tried to arrest his wife and toddler in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital.
Mr. Fani-Kayode admitted that the commission had frozen several accounts belonging to him and his wife, Chikwendu Sonia.

One of the estate agents who sold houses acquired by the Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose, has promised to cooperate with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over the seven houses traced to the controversial governor.
The seven houses were allegedly aquired by Fayose in a space of six months.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has said it has traced 17 accounts to former Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh (retd).
Badeh was in January arrested for the non-specification of procurement costs, absence of contract agreements, award of contracts beyond authorised thresholds, transfer of public funds for unidentified purposes and general non-adherence to provisions of the Public Procurement Act.
