    The newly-appointed Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission (NUC), Prof. Abubakar Abdulrasheed, has cautioned vice chancellors against parading themselves as chief executive officers.

    Vice Chancellors deny fixing post-UTME screening fee

    The Association of Vice Chancellors of Nigerian Universities (AVCNU) has denied reports that the Federal Ministry of Education and other stakeholders in the tertiary education sub-sector have agreed on N2,500 as fee for post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (post-UTME) screening.

    The Federal Ministry of Education has decided to convene a meeting with vice-chancellors, admission officers, and other stakeholders to discuss processes for the post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
