    ASUU ends one-week warning strike, asks lecturers to go back to work

    According to reports, the Academic Staff Union of Universities on Tuesday confirmed that it had ended its one-week nationwide warning strike over the non-implementation of a 2009 agreement with the Federal Government.

    ASUU members in the Federal University of Technology Minna have joined their counterparts on a one-week warning strike to press home their demand for improved working conditions.

    Lecturers of the University of Lagos on Wednesday complied with the directive of the Academic Staff Union of Universities to its members nationwide to begin a one-week warning strike.

    It was gathered that the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka has said it will to join the one-week warning strike against the non-implementation of agreements reached in 2009 and 2013.
