    Kano Police Present Four Officers Wounded By Shiites

    Police authorities in Kano state, have presented four officers allegedly wounded by the outlawed Shiite members, during their Arba’een procession.

    This comes nearly a week since the clash between mobile police officers in the state and members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN).

    Presenting the officers to reporters at the command’s headquarters, Police Public Relations officer, DSP Magaji Majia, confirmed the recovery of some weapons from the Shiites on the day of the clash.

    13 Nigerian soldiers wounded, others missing after Boko Haram clashes

    Thirteen Nigerian soldiers were wounded in clashes with the Islamist militant group Boko Haram and others are missing, the army said on Tuesday.

    Army spokesman Sani Usman said the clashes took place at Gashigar, a town in the northeast’s Borno state, near the border with Niger.

    The Nigerian Army on Thursday said 19 soldiers and three civilian joint task force members were wounded in a Boko Haram ambush at Guro Gongon village, Borno.

    Police intensify manhunt for herbalist treating wounded robbery suspects

    The police in Enugu State on Wednesday intensified its manhunt for a herbalist said to be treating wounded robbery suspects in his clinic at Orba community in Udenu Local Government Area of the state.
