Theo Walcott scored a brace, as Arsenal defeated Basel 2-0, in their second Group A game of this year’s Champions League.

The England forward who also scored against Chelsea last weekend, headed in the first goal after great work by Santi Cazorla and Alexis Sanchez down the left.

Walcott then exchanged passes with the Chilean, before finishing superbly shortly before the interval.

The Gunners are joint leaders with Paris Saint-Germain, who came from behind to defeat Ludogorets 3-1.

Barcelona also fought from a goal down to win 2-1 at Borussia Mochengladbach, Celtic drew 3-3 with Manchester City, Napoli beat Benfica 4-2 and Atletico Madrid shocked Bayern Munich 1-0.

In other games, Besiktas were held to a 1-1 draw by Dynamo Kyiv and PSV also drew 2-2 with Rostov.
