Chelsea and Leicester City players are wearing black armbands in honour of Willian’s mother and King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand.

The Brazilian midfielder misses Saturday’s clash at Stamford Bridge after he was granted compassionate leave following his mother’s death earlier this week.

‘Me, the player and the club are very close in this moment,’ said Chelsea boss Antonio Conte.

‘We are with him and his family.’

Leicester City, whose billionaire owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha is from Thailand, are paying tribute to Adulyadej, who died on Thursday after 70 years as the country’s king.
