The Manchester United star told Inside United that watching France beat Brazil 3-0 is the best game he has seen due to the star players who were on show in Paris.

“I don’t watch a lot of football because I’m playing football, I’m talking football… I see football every day,” said the Swede.

“You need to keep a little bit of distance. It’s all about the balance but if I can choose one maybe the World Cup when France won against Brazil [in the 1998 final] because Ronaldo was playing obviously so you want to watch and [Zinedine] Zidane was playing so you want to watch.

Zidane scored twice to claim Man of the Match honours while former Arsenal star Emmanuel Petit was also on target as France won their first World Cup title.
